Main duties of the job As a Pharmacist, you will: Join our talented multidisciplinary team Be the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospital Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where it's needed Offer services to a range of departments, including the pre-assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatres Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings Educate patients on the proper use of prescribed medications Conduct medication reconciliation and drug utilization reviews Document clinical interventions and outcomes Provide drug information and training to healthcare staff and patients Ensure compliance with hospital policies, national regulations, and accreditation standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and medication safety programs Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors About us About Cheltenham Hospital Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital is located in the beautiful area of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. It has excellent transport links nearby, being very close to the M5 and A417. The hospital has 33 ensuite private bedrooms, 3 theatres and a small ambulatory unit. It also hosts a purpose built close observation unit, 12 consulting rooms with access to treatment rooms, diagnostic services including; plain x-ray, MRI, CT, mammography and ultrasound. We provide a full range of medical and surgical specialities delivered in state-of-the-art clinical facilities, including orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, spinal services, sports injury, ENT, gynaecology, urology, as well as a rapid access breast clinic.
