Main duties of the job Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team at Farmfield Hospital. This temporary, part-time position requires the successful candidate to manage medication safely and efficiently in a specialist care setting, working collaboratively with GPs, nursing teams, and a pharmacy provider. Key responsibilities include ordering, dispensing, and ensuring timely receipt of medications, acting on safety alerts, maintaining secure storage of medications, attending multidisciplinary meetings, and participating in audits. Ensuring compliance with GPhC guidance and clinical governance is essential. The role requires maintaining professional GPhC registration and delivering relevant staff training. Candidates must have a Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians or equivalent experience and a minimum of two years of supervised pharmacy experience. The hospital is located at Farmfield, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN and offers medium and low secure services for men under the Mental Health Act.
