Job summary To provide high quality person-centred care and support to residents, promoting dignity, independence, wellbeing, and safety. The Band 3 HCA works as part of the multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Support residents with eating, drinking, and nutritional needs. Assist with medication administration or support medication rounds in line with local policy and competency requirements. Recognise and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional wellbeing. Support residents with activities that promote independence, social engagement, and quality of life. Maintain accurate care records and documentation. Follow safeguarding, infection prevention and control, and health and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with residents, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
