The role includes leading multidisciplinary team working, offering specialist advice to colleagues, and contributing to high-quality, safe, and compassionate care. You will participate in service development and quality improvement, support teaching and supervision of junior medical, nursing and allied health professionals, and will engage in audit, research, and continuing professional development. You will work in partnership with with social care services, local support groups and 3rd sector providers as well as palliative care teams to ensure holistic care for patients with long-term neurological conditions. Shared responsibility for clinical governance and contributing to an effective, responsive neurology service across South Cumbria is integral to the role. This post is a maximum of 10 PA's per week. Full-time, part-time and job share considered. It is a Monday to Friday post with no on-call commitments.
