Job summary This vacancy is a 12 Month Fixed Term Post - Maternity Cover An exciting opportunity has a risen for a 0.6WTE 12 month fixed term (maternity cover) band 5 Dietitian to work within our outpatient and inpatient dietetic team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and proactive HCPC registered Dietitian, with excellent clinical, communication and team working skills. This could be a great opportunity to start your dietetic career or to develop your current skills by working within a team of specialist dietitians in an outpatient and acute setting. Main duties of the job The post will provide cover to general clinics, weight management clinics, gestational diabetes groups and gastroenterology clinics. It will also include some work on the wards including Acute Medical Unit, gastroenterology, respiratory, endocrine, haematology, surgery and care of the elderly. Some cross site working may be required across the three hospital sites covered by the Trust, transport is available. We are a fully integrated team that includes, dietitians, nutrition nurses and assistants. Professional development is encouraged and supported through appraisal and regular supervision. You will be allocated time for CPD and shadowing experienced specialist dietitians. All dietitians are actively involved in student training and take students from University of Nottingham and Sheffield Hallam University.
