Main duties of the job As a Bank Consultant General Surgeon at Optimised Care, your main duties will include: Conducting specialist consultations and clinical assessments for patients presenting with general surgical conditions. Developing appropriate investigation, diagnosis and treatment plans based on individual patient needs. Undertaking surgical procedures within your area of expertise and agreed clinical scope. Providing clear advice to patients regarding treatment options, risks and expected outcomes. Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring timely communication with GPs and referring healthcare professionals. Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team to ensure smooth patient pathways and continuity of care. Complying with clinical governance requirements, professional standards and patient safety protocols. Supporting effective follow-up care and ensuring patients receive a high standard of service throughout their treatment. Sessions will be arranged flexibly, subject to clinical requirements and mutual availability.
