Pediatric Critical Care Hospitalist- Per Diem Pediatric Sub-Specialty Faculty & Rady Children’s Health-Orange County are seeking a physician within the Division of Critical Care to function as a provider within the Pediatric ICU (PICU). This position may be filled by a physician who has completed training in General Pediatrics or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine This is a frontline provider position working under the direction of the PICU attending physician and is not an attending-of-record position. The successful candidate will work as part of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary critical care team caring for children in our PICU. Rady Children’s Health-Orange County (RCHOC) is a Level I Trauma Hospital with 30 PICU beds. Hourly Pay + Paid Malpractice Insurance Physician Frontline Provider: Candidates must have completed an accredited general pediatrics residency and be board-eligible or board-certified in general pediatrics; or have completed fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine and be board-eligible or board-certified in their respective subspecialty. Current CA Medical License is highly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, teamwork, and an interest in caring for medically and surgically complex pediatric patients. Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
