Job Description Grow your career at Cedars-Sinai! The Cardiovascular Intervention Center is a core element of the Smidt Heart Institute, performing more than 8,000 procedures a year. The department serves the populations of neonates to and including geriatrics. In this seven-laboratory facility, a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures is performed for coronary artery disease, heart muscle function and heart valve dysfunction. The Electrophysiology Laboratory is part of the Cardiovascular intervention Center. These procedures include electrophysiology studies , arrhythmia mapping, radiofrequency ablation, implantable cardioverter defibrillator and pacemaker implantation. Why work here? Qualifications Experience Requirements: One (1)+ years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an Acute hospital preferred. Three (3)+ years of acute nursing experience. Prior experience in cardiac or cardiac surgery is strongly preferred. Educational/Licensure/Certifications Requirements: Master of Nursing Degree Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Current California Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner License National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NPI) Current California DEA 2-5 license and Furnishing License Current ACLS certification
