Job summary We are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Paramedic to join our friendly and supportive team at The Mandeville Practice , based in Aylesbury , on either a full time or part time basis. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of minor illnesses and urgent care needs. You will play a key role in improving access to clinical services, supporting chronic disease management, and contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of the local patient population. Main duties of the job The Paramedic will act as a specialist clinical resource, working autonomously within the community to assess, diagnose, treat, refer, or signpost patients presenting with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions related to minor illness or injury. Collaborating closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, the role involves delivering holistic, patient-centred care, supporting self-care and informed decision-making. The post holder will also be required to carry out home visits and must have access to a vehicle, with reasonable travel expenses reimbursed in line with the organisations policy. Ensure clinical practice is safe and effective and remains within boundaries ofcompetence, and to acknowledge limitations. Advise patients on general health care and minor ailments, with referral to other members of the primary and secondary health care team as necessary Works from the surgery and within communities as an autonomous practitioner caring for patients and families.
