Speciality Doctor - Community Paediatrics

Job summary We are looking to appoint a specialty doctor or equivalent level practitioner to join our community paediatric team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. We provide high-quality patient centred care, maintain excellent team working, resilience, and have developed effective, close working relationships with other colleagues across the Network. The successful candidate will be providing 2 community clinics each week with additional administration time. They will be supported by consultant colleagues within the department and share an office with a community Speciality doctor and consultant Paediatrician. The consultant body will provide support for continuing professional development and GMC revalidation requirement. Main duties of the job Assessment and management of children with developmental delay, possible ADHD and ASD. Assessment and management or signposting of children presenting with common community paediatric conditions like constipation, Tics, increased BMI. To coordinate care for children with neuro-disability, liaising with various members of the multidisciplinary team.
