Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Type Full-time Description Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is searching for a passionate, forward-thinking Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to become a key part of our growing telehealth services team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing mental health support through telehealth services. You will be responsible for conducting psych evaluations, performing medication management, and evaluating both new and returning patients. You’ll deliver high-quality mental health care through GRC's innovative telehealth services! Responsibilities Conduct psych evaluations for new and returning patients. Perform medication management in accordance with established protocols. Evaluate new patients to assess their mental health needs and develop appropriate care plans. Conduct thorough psych assessments on returning patients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Follow ups are scheduled during appointment by Provider. Charting and complete services. Writes prescriptions. Works with digital coordinator to coordinate staffing levels. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and practices. Proficient in conducting psych evaluations and developing comprehensive care plans. Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their appropriate administration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective telehealth interactions. Ability to adapt to various telehealth platforms and technologies. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Ability to maintain records in a timely fashion. Ability to coordinate care with the team that may include therapists, nurses, CRS workers, administration, office staff when necessary Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current and valid nursing license in Pennsylvania required. *Applicants who do not have current licensing in Pennsylvania will be required to provide proof of application Certification in psychiatric nursing is required. Additional certifications in telehealth or related fields are a plus. Additional Requirements Pass a PA Criminal Background Check. Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting clearances.
