Job summary We are recruiting a Psychologist (12-Month Maternity Cover) to join our team. Join our dedicated multidisciplinary team at Sturdee Community Hospital in Leicester. We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Psychologist to join us on a 12-month maternity cover contract. At Sturdee Community Hospital, we are committed to providing holistic, personalised care for women aged 1865 with complex mental health needs. Our service comprises 31 beds across two locked rehabilitation wards and nine semi-independent flats, offering a supportive, structured environment where every individual is empowered. Main duties of the job Main job function: Assess and evaluate individuals problems through the use of case history, interview and observation and provide individual or group counselling services to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal, social, educational and vocational development and adjustment.
