Pharmacist in Charge

Job Title: Pharmacist in Charge Work Arrangement: Onsite Location: Bronx, New York 10458 Employment Type: Full Time Engagement Type: Direct Hire Compensation: Base salary $140,000 to $150,000 Position Summary Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring on behalf of its client for a Pharmacist in Charge to lead retail pharmacy operations in the Bronx, New York. The Pharmacist in Charge prepares and dispenses appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients, leads a team of pharmacy technicians, and manages the overall day to day responsibilities of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities Prepare, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with federal and New York State pharmacy regulations. Serve as the pharmacist in charge for the location, maintaining licensure, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance. Lead, schedule, train, and supervise a team of pharmacy technicians. Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, interactions, and side effects. Manage pharmacy inventory, ordering, and controlled substance handling. Operate the pharmacy Patient Management System for prescription processing and patient records. Oversee daily workflow, prescription volume, and turnaround times to meet service standards. Requirements Required Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Current, active license to practice pharmacy in the State of New York. Minimum of 3 years of retail pharmacy manager experience. Working proficiency with a pharmacy Patient Management System. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous leadership or supervisory role within a retail pharmacy setting. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, normally between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with a 30 minute lunch break.
