Main duties of the job This is an exciting opportunity to join out team as we progress through a period of transformation and embedding a whole of life approach to safeguarding. This is a key operational leadership role with strong input and engagement with the strategic leadership of the UHS safeguarding team, providing direction and support to midwifery services in managing safeguarding concerns and supporting outcomes for families. Working with the head of safeguarding, named nurses and wider leadership teams you will support the development and embedding of best practice throughout maternity, and wider; design and deliver training to empower the workforce to deliver the best possible care, and undertake all areas of service assurance and improvement where necessary.
