Job summary At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations. Main duties of the job The post holder will: Be required to work at both County Hospital and Royal Stoke Hospital Act as a chaperone for imaging tests Provide assistance to the operator during biopsies by preparing trollies using ANTT, assisting during the procedure as required. Provide support for the patient undergoing procedures Apply pressure following biopsies and post biopsy wound care Ensure that the environment is clean and tidy Carry out post procedural data input to Trust systems Support the service with maintenance of stock Ability to drive between sites is beneficial as start and end times do not coincide with the inter-hospital bu The post holder is required to provide a supportive role to the imaging team ensuring the delivery of an efficient and effective service; working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to give the best quality of service by assisting radiographers, nurses and medical staff by carrying out non-radiographic clinical and non-clinical tasks in the Imaging Directorate. A caring, co-operative and flexible approach to working practices is required whilst maintaining a professional attitude for the dignity and well-being of the patient.
