Job summary UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care Nurse Team at HMP Dovegate, a category B Prison located in Uttoxeter in Staffordshire. HMP Dovegate is a private prison with a capacity of 1160 males.    We are looking for a qualified Paramedic with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience. You must also have completed a Primary Care module and be confident working within a primary care setting. You will be based within the healthcare department and prison wing work will also be required.  Hours Monday - Sunday service  37.5 hours per week  Monday- Friday- 6:45am - 6.15pm Saturday and Sunday - 07:45am - 18.15pm  Nights- 8:00pm - 7am Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £43,609 - £49,175 per annum depending on experience. You will Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs. Daily shift co-ordination responsibilities  Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries. Qualified Paramedic Current professional registration (HCPC) Proven post-registration ambulance experience - 3 years post- qualified  Evidence of continued professional development A non-judgmental and compassionate approach Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
