Job summary The 24 Month BSc (Hons) Midwifery Shortened Programme at the London South Bank University aims to produce competent, caring, research and evidence-based midwives, capable of delivering effective woman-centred care for mothers and their families. This full-time programme commences September 2065. During the 24 Month course, time will be split between the London South Bank University (LSBU) and the Royal London Hospital. To apply for the course, you will have the following; An active Adult Nursing Registration (NMC Registration) Bachelor's degree in Adult Nursing with a minimum of 2:2 Proven post registration experience in a Nursing setting in the UK. GCSE Maths and English or equivalencies or IELTS 7.0 Students applying for this funded training post (bottom point band 5) should note that HEE are paying tuition fees. Main duties of the job Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery course at London South Bank University (24 months). The two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery aims to produce competent, caring, autonomous and evidenced-based midwives, capable of delivering effective personalised quality care for mothers, birthing people and their families in any context. Midwives of the 21st century practice within dynamic, rapidly changing and diverse contexts and require personal, academic and professional skills to practice in an optimum way. During the two-year course, time will be spent 50% with London South Bank University Southwark and 50% with Barts Health NHS Trust at the Royal London Hospital This course can open an exciting career in Midwifery with a diverse range of opportunities to enhance your future careers.
