Job summary We are looking for a General Sonographer to support our Diagnostic World ultrasound services across Walsall. Main duties of the job To provide NOUS diagnostics to patients on behalf of the company whilst adhering to the highest quality standards of ultrasound Practice patient care, in accordance with company standards, procedures and protocols. About us Diagnostic World are a leading provider of NHS and Private healthcare with services delivered from Community Diagnostic Centres and Community Health Centres. Within our service offering, we provide Non-Obstetric Ultrasound and Echocardiography services to patients across England on a referred and self-referred basis. Ability to perform patient scans within a 15-minute appointment slot. Undertake examinations in line with the patient referrals adhering to organisational guidelines. Manage a safe, effective, caring and well led environment responsive to our patients, customer and staff requirements. Support the Clinical Lead and Training Lead when required. Support the Operational Management Team with operational queries and participate in team meetings ensuring effective communication within the service. Support the Clinic HCA as required to ensure the smooth running of the clinic. Assist trainee sonographers and other colleagues in the achievement of their learning outcomes. To participate in individual performance review (appraisal) on an annual basis. To hold, and when required exchange with colleagues, company assets required to carry out service effectively.
