Based at The Heathside Centre, Coxheath, this role offers a varied and rewarding workload across a range of community settings, where you can see the real difference your dietetic advice makes to patients' lives. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills while working alongside experienced dietitians in a supportive and friendly team.The post is full time, with flexible working considered. This role is ideal for newly qualified dietitians or those looking to broaden their experience within community nutrition and dietetics, providing exposure to a wide range of clinical settings, ongoing professional development, and the chance to work as part of a highly supportive andexperienced team. Main duties of the job As a Band 5 Community Dietitian, you will have a varied caseload with support from experienced colleagues and clinical supervisors, gainingexperience across a broad range of community settings.Key responsibilities include: o Providing nutritional assessment, treatment, monitoring and evaluation for adults with a range of nutritional needso Delivering face to face outpatient clinicso Undertaking home visits to support patients in their own homeso Running virtual clinics, including remote working from home where appropriateo Working within care homes and community hospital settings alongside multidisciplinary teamso Contributing to and delivering patient group education sessionsAbout UsYou will be part of a large, friendly, and supportive Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Service within KCHFT, employing over 50 dietetic staff acrossfour teams working across Kent.
