Clinical Senior Lecturer - Academic Lead (Year 5)

Job summary We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as an Clinical Senior Lecturer, Academic Lead for year 5 of our MB ChB Programme. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our MBChB Programme Teaching and Learning Academic Team, supporting the senior leadership team in ensuring delivery of the Year 5 programme to the highest standard. You will supervise the associate academic leads and CEC academic leads for Year 5 and will be responsible for ensuring that year 5 learning content is assessed and updated appropriately by relevant academic staff. You will be a key member of the Year 5 emendation group with the assessment team. You will work to enhance the experience for students by improving the quality of year 5 through the sharing and implementation of good practice within a dynamic and inclusive environment. Main duties of the job You will be responsible for: - Leadership of the year 5 academic team A continuous evaluation and improvement of the Year 5 programme Ensuring our teaching and learning prepares our students for progression to graduation and early professional practice Engagement with our clinical tutors and supporting administrative staff who deliver our course across our clinical education campuses We welcome candidates who bring diverse perspectives, experiences, and approaches to their work.
