Job summary The Occupational Therapist within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT) provides specialist, recovery-focused assessment and intervention for individuals experiencing an acute mental health crisis. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder supports people to remain safely at home where appropriate, promotes independence, and helps individuals regain daily functioning, meaningful activity and community participation. The role involves assessing occupational needs, developing personalised recovery plans, supporting admission avoidance and facilitating successful discharge from acute services Main duties of the job The Occupational Therapist provides specialist assessment and recovery-focused intervention for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, supporting independence, daily functioning and community living while contributing to admission avoidance and effective discharge planning About us Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) employ around 4000 talented colleagues who are very much appreciated, valued, and respected.
