The post holder will work alongside experienced colleagues to support patients with complex nutritional needs, including those requiring TPN, providing evidence based nutritional support to aid their journey to recovery. The patient group includes gastrointestinal surgery (HPB, UGI and colorectal) and gastrointestinal diseases, in largely inpatient settings. Supporting the training of graduate dietitians and students is encompassed within the role and you will play a vital part in sharing expertise to guide and aid development in the future of dietetics. This post requires a proactive approach where you contribute to innovation, service development and audit. You will be supported with your personal development goals and have regular clinical supervision and peer support. You will work closely day to day with MDT colleagues, nursing, and medical teams.
