We are inviting a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join our Psychology Team within Community Mental Health Service (CMHS) on the Isle of Wight, where you'll work with people with complex mental health needs within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job To provide high quality specialist assessment, formulation, individual and group psychological therapy to patients of the Isle of Wight Community Mental Health Teams, working within professional guidelines and the organisational structure of the Service's policies and procedures. The characteristics of the core population include people with enduring mental health needs and complex emotional needs who may find it difficult to: Make or maintain relationships, connect with other people, including friends, family or work colleagues Manage and control their emotions Cope with life and difficult feelings Control their behaviours and impulses Duties will also include working with other people involved in individuals' care (eg family or named carers).
