Phlebotomist

Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy phlebotomy team at New Cross Hospital. 1x 20 hour position - 5 weekday shifts (varying hours) working at New Cross Hospital across ward areas and out patient clinics. You must be committed to delivering a high standard of service in line with our Trust values. Phlebotomy duties include taking blood samples from patients, labelling tubes, and the storing of samples for Pathology. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible to work as part of a team in the Phlebotomy Department and will be required to carry out phlebotomy duties on wards and in clinics across the hospital. They will be expected to respond positively to the changing demands of the service.
