Job summary Band 7 Highly Specialised Paediatric Physiotherapist ( Community) 37.5 hours per week Permanent This post may close sooner than advertised, if a high volume of applications are received. Main duties of the job You will carry a manageable caseload of children aged 0-19 years and be responsible for clinics, providing early intervention, over 3s, and services to children with cerebral palsy or other neuro-disabilities. This may include hydrotherapy and early intervention clinics. This will include joint working with the multi-disciplinary team, consultant paediatricians and physiotherapy orthopaedic practitioners. Good established links with equipment providers are in place. You should have paediatric experience with demonstrable knowledge of specific paediatric assessments and interventions, able to prioritise your workload and time, and support others to do the same. Good communication skills are essential, as you will be working independently and alongside other health and social care professionals; supervising band 6s, assistants and students.Chelsea and Westminster therapy department is committed to evidence based practice and the development of clinical skills are supported through a programme of regular in-service training, supervision and appraisal.
