Job summary We are delighted to be looking to appoint a 0.6WTE Band 6 Specialist Dietitian to work at Newcastle Hospitals within renal services. Working within the regional renal unit and transplant centre for the north east of England. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your dietetic experience within a specialist area working within the already established multidisciplinary team. This includes both inpatient and outpatient work with the chance to be involved with service development and to gain experience in general nephrology, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, transplant surgery and critical care. The renal dietetics team is part of Newcastle Nutrition, an enthusiastic and committed dietetic organisation, and benefits from excellent support from specialist colleagues within many disciplines. You should have already gained post-registration dietetic experience across a range of areas in an acute hospital setting. They work to provide a high quality service to renal patients and are actively involved in research and development at local and national level. To deliver this service, some occasional working outside of normal hours may be required.
