Job summary Covent Garden Centre is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, compassionate and proactive Health Care Assistant (HCA)to join our forward thinking, friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HCA who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and supporting the health and wellbeing of our local community. The successful candidate will join our team and will work closely with our GPs, nurses, pharmacists and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care while supporting the smooth running of the practice. The role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a strong focus on patient-centred care, prevention and health promotion. Main duties of the job Main duties of the job Undertake delegated clinical duties including: Phlebotomy. Diabetes Reviews Mental Health Checks. NHS Health Checks. ECG recording Blood pressure monitoring. Cardio, Renal and Metabolic Reviews as part of our single offer contract Other health review Height, weight and BMI measurements. Ensure clinical rooms remain fully stocked, clean and organised. Maintain infection prevention and control standards at all times. Accurately document consultations and clinical activity within SystmOne. Escalate any abnormal findings or safeguarding concerns appropriately. Deliver patient-centred care in line with policies, local protocols and NHS standards Maintain confidentiality and comply with information governance policies. Contribute to service improvement and support the wider multidisciplinary team. About us We are a forward thinking practice with a growing, diverse inner city patient population of 5000. We are a member of the West End & Marylebone PCN, and GP Federation Healthcare Central London.
