Optometrist 1 Visit Monthly The MedServ Group Part Time Compensation : $40.00 - $45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit). We are currently searching for a talented Optometrist to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal Optometrist is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population Optometrist Responsibilities Performing comprehensive eye exams. Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular disease. Prescribing corrective lenses or eye medications as needed. Providing pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients. Facility Location: 5580 Daniel Smith Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 4142 Bonney Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452 340 Lynn Shores Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23452 1148 First Colonial Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454 Optometrist Requirements Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license. Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics. Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills. General Information 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork. Schedule : Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available. 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care Part Time Compensation : $40.00 -$45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit).
