We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to become part of our friendly and innovative team of registered dietitians, nutritionists and dietetic support workers. You will play a key role in delivering food and nutrition training and supporting community-based activities for both professionals and members of the public. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to a range of established programmes aligned with local and national public health priorities, including accredited food and nutrition skills training and the Tiny Tums best practice award for food and drink provision in childcare settings. Main duties of the job Deliver accredited nutrition courses for community based staff working with a range of groups. This involves the recruitment, planning, implementation and evaluation of courses to ultimately benefit service users. Work as a member of the Public Health Dietetics team and within multi-agency teams liaising with and advising others in relation to specific client's needs by implementing food and nutrition (level 2) course delivery. Within the West area team, improving basic food and nutrition skills amongst community partners/ agencies working within the specific area of public health dietetics. Participating in various partnership/ Task and Finish groups, in agreement with the Senior Dietitians. This may be within a topic specific group, or across a multi-agency network, and will be identified within the post holder's Work Plan e.g. nutrition standards; training & development; audit; service user involvement; service evaluation; nutrition resources review/ improvement. Working as a member of multi-agency teams. Undertake clinical governance responsibilities in relation to the service area within the relevant specialist groups and multi-agency networks. Support the development, implementation and evaluation of Key Quality Indicators (KQI).
