Additional qualifications include Radiography, IHS/IV Sedation, Fluoride Varnish and Oral Health Education. Main duties of the job What Youll Do Provide high-quality clinical support to our dentists and therapists while helping deliver exceptional patient care Maintain high standards of infection control and ensure surgeries are prepared and cleaned efficiently. Support the delivery of emergency and routine care, including special care and paediatric sessions. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care across practice and community settings. Engage with patients compassionately, helping to reduce anxiety and ensure they feel welcomed and supported. Assist with administrative tasks including record-keeping, stock control, and patient preparation. What Were Looking For: GDC-registered Dental Nurse. The role also involves maintaining compliance with professional and regulatory standards while supporting efficient practice operations. Travel to provide cover at other clinical locations within Smile Together will be required on occasions. Key accountabilities Working in Accordance with GDC Dental Standards and CQC Regulations As a General Dental Council (GDC) registered professional, the post holder must: Adhere to GDC Standards for the Dental Team, ensuring ethical and effective patient care. Maintain full GDC registration without conditions. Uphold clinical governance, infection control (HTM 01-05), and professional conduct standards. Commitment to Patient Experience Recognise and demonstrate an understanding of the different journey a patient will experience depending on their treatment needs and the service being provided to them Provide clear, professional communication to patients about their treatment.
