The Ageing & Complex Care directorate is committed to constantly developing, improving, and innovating our services around the needs of our older population. Main duties of the job Our Ageing & Complex Care directorate consists of 3 primary departments: Elderly (Geriatric) Medicine, Stroke Medicine, and Palliative Care. The role will work primarily within these services, which includes a complex ward work and front-door frailty services. In addition to this, there will be an opportunity for the successful applicant to be job planned for their sub-specialist interest for the development of themselves and the service. The successful candidate will also be expected to support the Medical on-call consultant rota, which involves a combination of evening, overnight and weekend cover (1 in 24 weekdays and 1 in 8 weekends, with 1 Bank Holiday per calendar year).
