Main duties of the job The role of a Band 6 Health Visitor at HCRG Care Group involves leading and delivering a high-quality and proactive health visiting service for children and their families. This position requires building trusted relationships with families and supporting them to achieve positive health outcomes, reducing health inequalities, and improving outcomes for children and families. Health Visitors at HCRG Care Group play a critical role in safeguarding children and promoting their health, development, and wellbeing. The responsibilities include delivering the universal reach of the Healthy Child Programme, assessing health needs, and implementing appropriate interventions for a personalized or targeted response. Health Visitors are also expected to collaborate with key partners to address identified public health needs and to develop and foster professional relationships and networks with families and other key partners. The ideal candidate will have a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification, current NMC registration, and experience in leading and working in health visiting teams.
