We are recruiting Graduate Paramedics to join courses commencing on 9 November 2026 and 23 November 2026 . As a Graduate Paramedic with London Ambulance Service, you will begin your career with a comprehensive clinical induction programme, supported operational experience and access to a well-established development pathway designed to help you thrive as a healthcare professional. £2,500 Skills Incentive Available To support the recruitment of skilled clinicians, eligible applicants who hold both: A full C1 driving licence; and An LAS recognised Emergency Response (Blue Light) Driving Qualification at the time of application may be eligible to receive a one-off Skills Incentive payment of £2,500 . This incentive recognises the valuable skills and experience these candidates bring to the Service and supports their rapid deployment into operational roles. Terms and conditions apply. To apply you must: Be HCPC registered or expected to receive HCPC registration by 11 October 2026 . Hold a full C1 driving licence at the time of application. Be available to commence training at Dockside Education Centre on either: 9 November 2026 , or 23 November 2026 . Main duties of the job Successful candidates will be placed onto a dedicated Overlay Roster for a minimum period of 12 months . The Overlay Roster has been designed to support operational resilience across London and provides additional workforce capacity where demand is highest. As a result, the roster will contain a higher proportion of unsocial hours than standard operational rosters. Applications to move from the Overlay Roster through flexible working or reasonable adjustment processes will be considered centrally and balanced against operational requirements at the time. As a Graduate Paramedic, you will: Work within your scope of practice and professional competence, seeking clinical advice and support when required. Deliver high-quality patient care in line with Trust policies, procedures and clinical guidelines. Assess, treat and appropriately refer patients using established care pathways. Reduce inappropriate demand on emergency services by supporting access to alternative healthcare services where appropriate. Work collaboratively across professional boundaries to support the delivery of urgent and emergency care. Contribute to the delivery of a flexible and responsive ambulance service for the people of London.
