Main duties of the job Successful candidates will be placed onto a dedicated Overlay Roster for a minimum period of 12 months . The Overlay Roster has been designed to support operational resilience across London and provides additional workforce capacity where demand is highest. As a result, the roster will contain a higher proportion of unsocial hours than standard operational rosters. Applications to move from the Overlay Roster through flexible working or reasonable adjustment processes will be considered centrally and balanced against operational requirements at the time. As a Graduate Paramedic, you will: Work within your scope of practice and professional competence, seeking clinical advice and support when required. Deliver high-quality patient care in line with Trust policies, procedures and clinical guidelines. Assess, treat and appropriately refer patients using established care pathways. Reduce inappropriate demand on emergency services by supporting access to alternative healthcare services where appropriate. Work collaboratively across professional boundaries to support the delivery of urgent and emergency care. Contribute to the delivery of a flexible and responsive ambulance service for the people of London.
