Verify insurance and referral information prior to appointments. Complete patient registration and ensure demographic information is accurate. Manage physician schedules and confirm appointments. Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system. Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments. Process co-pays and patient payments. Assist with medication refill requests and medical records requests. Communicate important patient information to clinical staff and providers. Maintain accurate records within the electronic medical record system. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications At least 1 year of healthcare front desk, medical reception, healthcare administration, or dental office experience. Experience using an EMR/EHR system. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a busy, high-volume clinic setting. Comfortable working with insurance verification, scheduling, and patient registration. High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Epic EMR. Previous experience in a specialty medical practice. Work Environment On-site position in the Golden/Lakewood area. Fast-paced clinic environment. Be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Full-time schedule with shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Black scrubs required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
