Pharmacist nx

Maintain integrity of pharmacy and specific departments, monitoring compliance with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations Analyze patient chart notes and perform drug utilization reviews Evaluates prescriptions for clarity, route of administration, purpose of use, dosage, schedule, and compatibility with other medications Consult directly with physicians on orders requiring clarification and discussion Monitor technician activity regarding prescription entering, filling, and phone communication Dispense medications following regulatory standards and guidelines Counsel all patients regarding medications received Provide 24 hour on call coverage as required Qualifications Must have strong organizational and communication skills, verbal and written Education and Experience: Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree, or Doctorate in Pharmacy Degree from accredited college or school of pharmacy Must be a licensed pharmacist 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist Physical Demands: The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
