Ellis Ward is looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and motivated Healthcare Assistant (Band 3) to join our multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to service users, supporting their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing within a safe and therapeutic environment. Working under the supervision of registered professionals, you will provide direct care and support to service users, promoting recovery, independence, and dignity at all times. You will contribute to the assessment and monitoring of patient needs, maintain accurate clinical records, and assist in the implementation of care plans. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering compassionate care in line with NHS values. Experience within a healthcare setting and a relevant Care Certificate or equivalent qualification are desirable. Main duties of the job Deliver high-quality care and support to service users. Observe, monitor, and accurately record patients' physical and mental health needs. Support service users with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions. Promote recovery, independence, dignity, and respect. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and electronic records. Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals, carers, and other agencies. Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic care environment. Participate in training, supervision, and continuous professional development.
