Job summary UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the  Primary Care  team at HMP Bure.  HMP Bure is a Category C prison based in Norwich. HMP Bure  is a busy male prison which a capacity for around 650 inmates. There is parking on site.  Hours 37.5 hours per week on a rolling 8 week rota basis Monday - Thursday - 0800 - 1930 Friday - Sunday - 0800 -1730 Some occasional weekend working required.   Salary This role is full time and we offer a salary of up to £29,723 per annum.  How will we support you? Some of your duties will include: Deliver exceptional care to patients, both in the healthcare department and on the wings Facilitate clinics, including bloods, observations (obs), ECGs, NHS Health checks etc Be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages Support the nursing team with all aspects of care  Act as a second checker in pharmacy as required Support receptions (new patients entering the prison) and assist with triaging new patients If you are interested in  career development,  we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both  internal and external options  for development and learning.
