Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is the clinician-led medical group that provides care exclusively for Kaiser Permanente members in Washington state. With over 1,300 clinicians across more than 30 specialties, WPMG is one of the largest and most respected multi-specialty group practices in the Pacific Northwest. Summary Kaiser Permanente - Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking temporary (0.8 FTE) Hospitalists to join our Seattle team based at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Washington. Overlake Medical Center is a nonprofit regional medical center offering a full range of advanced medical services to the Puget Sound region. It is the first Level III Trauma Center on the Eastside, and is known for providing award-winning, compassionate and patient-centered care. Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) providers take care of most of the patients admitted. Exceptions include: some ICU (GH intensivists rotate with community intensivists and they share all patients), interventional radiology, GI (for ERCP only), neurosurgery emergencies (not stable for transfer to VMMC). Core components of this position include: Community Hospital Admitting/Rounding & Inpatient management Coordinate multidisciplinary Inpatient care Work collaboratively with specialist , nursing and case management Consultations in urgent care and ED if needed to amplify efficiencies Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $324,583 to $343,667 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience) Market-leading health Benefits (medical only, dental not included) Paid Time Off Paid Annual Education Leave + Allowance Employer Paid Malpractice & Tail Coverage Qualifications Required: BE or BC IM/FM Hospitalist Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA Ability to obtain: WA State Medical License Community Bellevue offers a dynamic mix of innovation, natural beauty, and upscale living.
