This is a part time role, 2 days 19h/pw on a 12 month fixed term contract with a salary of £48,133.33-£50,666.66. Main duties of the job We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Speciality Glaucoma Doctor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our NHS medical glaucoma service, providing both clinical and surgical assistance. Details Date posted 26 June 2026 Pay scheme Other Salary £95,000 to £100,000 a year Pension, 33 Days Annual Leave, Private Healthcare, Free laser eye Contract Fixed term Duration 12 months Working pattern Part-time Reference number E0110-26-0012 Job locations Optegra Eye Hospital Yorkshire 937 Harrogate Road Bradford West Yorkshire BD10 0RD United Kingdom Job description Job responsibilities - Diagnose, evaluate and manage patients with existing and undiagnosed glaucoma along with other ocular conditions. - Perform diagnostic tests and procedures such as visual field assessments, optical coherence tomography (OCT), volk, CCT and gonioscopy. - Provide management plans for existing Glaucoma referrals - Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients. - Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. - Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives. - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding glaucoma management and treatment options.
