The role will work flexibly across the Portfolio, while holding a primary assignment. This may involve providing and receiving of sensitive or complex information, providing advice, instruction or training where the subject matter is straightforward. In particular this will involve working predominantly for the Consultant Psychiatrist and non-medical prescribers and will involve the following responsibilities: Responding to appropriate requests for information The use of Big Hand system and skills in auditory typing Acting on correspondence responding to, or referring to the appropriate person Providing routine advice on areas of knowledge/expertise, in a manner relevant to the audience and topic area (ie patients, carers, complexity) Liaison with partner services and organisations Preparation/completion of routine documents, including letters, reports, presentations and forms e.g. purchase order requisitions, photocopying, filing Handling telephone queries Assisting patients/clients/relatives with non-clinical advice Teaching and supporting new Admin team members and providing aspects of the team induction and training to new starters regarding the building and admin processes.
