Speciality Doctor - Urology

Job summary We are looking to appoint a Speciality Doctor in Urology to join our friendly surgical team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. You will work under the supervision of the consultants to deliver a high-quality service to patients with general urological conditions, as well as providing support to junior colleagues and nursing staff as required. You will participate in a rota comprising Specialty Doctor colleagues and a Higher Specialist Trainee. Some aspects of the role can be bespoke to the individual needs of the post-holder and tailored to take into account previous relevant experience, or achievement of requirements for application to specialty training. There is a full shift rota in place & applicants must be able to participate in the full shift pattern. Mentor support can also be provided for those either already undertaking or looking to commence self-directed Portfolio Pathway.
