Vascular Sonographer/Scientist

Job summary With new and passionate Ultrasound Leads driving service development, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Vascular Sonographer with UK experience, AVS accreditation and registration with the College and Society for Clinical Vascular Science to join our friendly and forward-looking team. Main duties of the job Main duties of the job The role involves undertaking a full range of complex vascular investigations, including arterial, venous, carotid, aneurysm and graft surveillance, EVAR follow up and vasospastic testing. You will produce clear, accurate reports using the Trust's electronic systems and communicate any urgent findings to the vascular and stroke teams. The post requires an adaptable approach to scanning techniques to meet individual patient needs, alongside active contribution to service development, audit, research and wider clinical governance. You will also play a key part in supervising and supporting junior staff and assisting with the training of new team members.
