Opportunity Details Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents is seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrician to join our team in New Kent, VA. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers the opportunity to provide care for children and adolescents ages 2–22 in an acute care, inpatient, and residential setting. Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients ages 2–18 Participate in admissions, discharge planning, treatment team meetings, and medication management Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, dietitians, and support staff Support daily clinical care in an inpatient and residential treatment environment Requirements MD or DO from an accredited program Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics Active Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one Minimum of 5 years of training or practice experience Meets all credentialing requirements Benefits Competitive salary $230,000 - $259,000 No Mandatory call, Additional pay for call coverage Malpractice insurance Paid time off 401(k) with match CME package Health insurance benefits Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus About Cumberland Hospital Cumberland Hospital is a family-oriented, 110-bed specialty hospital serving patients with chronic illnesses, brain injuries, and neurobehavioral disorders.
