Job summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Consultant Dermatologist to join our consultant-led Community Dermatology Service. The successful candidate will provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care for adult patients presenting with a broad range of dermatological conditions within a community setting. The role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering safe, effective and patient-centred dermatology services. Main duties of the job Undertake new and follow-up dermatology consultations. Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of dermatological conditions. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Perform dermatological procedures appropriate to the community setting. Review investigation and pathology results where applicable. Escalate or refer patients requiring specialist intervention outside the service scope. Maintain accurate clinical records and complete consultation outcomes in a timely manner. Produce clinic letters, treatment plans and discharge summaries as required.
