Job description
Job summary We are seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with older adults. A part time position has become available in Bromley Older Adult Community Mental Health Team and we warmly welcome your applications. You will deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment and recovery-focused interventions to a small caseload through individual and group work. You will promote active engagement in meaningful occupations and facilitate the skills development and independence of service users. Main duties of the job The postholder will work in collaboration with other Occupational Therapists in the CMHT in contributing to the development and delivery of the OT pathway, while also holding care co-ordination responsibility for a small, defined number of service users. You will promote occupational therapy, supervise support staff and students, and contribute to service development and quality improvement across the service. We are seeking someone that is motivated, organised, able to work autonomously and work collaboratively with the MDT, as well as our partners in the acute directorate to promote recovery and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
