About Us: Life Tree Pharmacy is dedicated to providing accurate, timely, and compassionate pharmacy care with the personal attention of a family pharmacy. Our team delivers customized pharmacy solutions to a wide range of healthcare settings, including psychiatric hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, group homes, assisted living communities, and youth behavioral health programs. Schedule: 20-30 hours per week on a temp basis with the possibility of going perm. Program hours of operation: M - F 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Rate: $60 - 80 per hour based on experience About the position: Directly supervises employees in the pharmacy in accordance with the organization's policies. Follows all applicable state and federal laws including state board of Pharmacy, DEA, USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800. Knowledgeable with specialty pharmacy rules and regulations including URAC and ASHC Accreditations. Active involvement in necessary clinical and strategic meetings with clinic professionals working towards improving patient care and compliance. Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness. Dispense medications and counsel patients on proper usage, side effects, and storage. Monitor patient medication therapies for interactions, contraindications, and effectiveness. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient profiles. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. Pharm D. and two to four years related experience and/or training preferred.
